descrizione:  L’opera tratta il tema dell’emigrazione che è un fenomeno che interessa la nostra terra, in particolare Palermiti, che dagli anni 60’ circa in poi ha visto e vede ancora tanta gente partire. All’interno della composizione si possono notare vari elementi simbolici come le rondini simbolo della migrazione, le pale eoliche oramai diventate parte integrante del paesaggio, e le piante tipiche locali come il castagno e l’ulivo. Il tutto avvolto e organizzato in una palette di colori che riprende le atmosfere dei paesaggi del luogo.

description:  The work deals with the theme of emigration which is a phenomenon that affects our land, in particular Palermiti, which from around the 1960s onwards saw and still sees many people leaving. Within the composition you can notice various symbolic elements such as the swallows symbolizing migration, the wind turbines which have now become an integral part of the landscape, and typical local plants such as the chestnut and olive trees. All wrapped and organized in a color palette that recalls the atmosphere of the local landscapes.
